Saturday , March 23rd your Breakers FC took on local MLS academy team the San Jose Earthquakes in a full day of games. With our home field Cabrillo College still under construction the beautiful grass soccer facilities of Cal State Monterey Bay played host. The U13’s started the day off at 9:30am , followed by the U14’s at 11:00am , U15’s at 1:00pm , U17’s at 3:00pm , and U19’s at 5:00pm. With the rain gone for now the stage was set for a good day of academy soccer.

The day started off with a tough result as the U13’s conceded early and were not able to find a way back. Both the U14’s and U15’s were handed tough one goal losses with the U15’s conceding late on after equalizing right before. The third game of the day was the U17’s who came out on top with a 2-1 win. Two brilliant strikes from Adrian Madueno and Jose Flores made the difference in a very competitive game against a strong Earthquakes opponent. The final game of the day saw your Breakers U19’s fall just short in an end to end battle.

Next weekend your Breakers go down south as they travel to San Diego. They will take on both San Diego Surf on Saturday 3/30 and Albion SC on Sunday 3/31.
