This weekend your Breakers FC had a full day of academy games. Harbor High School in Santa Cruz was the venue for all games Saturday , April 6th as we wait patiently for our home of Cabrillo College to complete its renovation. Local Bay Area academy Silicon Valley Soccer Club were the opposition on what was another exciting day of soccer. The U12’s started the day off with an 8:30am kick off and the U19’s finished the day at 6:15pm kick off.

The first two games of the day was our two U12 teams with them splitting the share of the points. After those , we had the U13’s compete in a hard fought game where it saw them concede two second half goals which ended up making the difference. The following game was the U14’s and that had a different story line. With a very close one goal difference your Breakers came out on top and kept a clean sheet. Both the U15’s and U17’s followed up with disappointing results, as the U17’s conceded in the dying minute after a tough match. The final game of the day was the U19’s and they finished the day off strong for your Breakers. A first half hat-trick from midfielder Francisco Ruiz helped guide them to a very comfortable win.

Next weekend your Breakers face Ballistic United away from home Saturday , April 13th.
