This weekend you Breakers FC continued their home stand as they hosted two matches. After last weeks undefeated weekend your Breakers FC were looking to pick up where they left off. Friday night they took on undefeated and first place side FC Golden State and on Sunday afternoon they had Orange County U23’s visiting.

Fridays match against the first place team was an exciting test. It was a chance at revenge as these two side faced previously just two weeks prior. With a lot of new added players the Breakers bolstered a new and improved roster this time which proved key. New signing Ettore Ballestracci scored two goals on his debut and helped your Breakers deservedly win in a dominating performance against the first place side. Sunday’s contest was always going to be difficult as a fresh OC U23 side came up. After a close battle in the first half , the second half proved to be the decider as your Breakers conceded two late goals to drop the points at home.

Overall there are many positives to take away from the games this weekend. With only one game this coming weekend the team is looking forward to using a couple extra days of rest to recover to prepare for Sunday match. We are looking forward to seeing you there.
