This weekend your Breakers FC took on the San Jose Earthquakes academy in another full set of games. The games were played at Evergreen Valley College in San Jose. The day started off with the U17’s at 9:00am , followed by the U19’s at 11:00am and U15’s at 1:00pm.

In the first game of the day the U17’s came out on the wrong side of a misleading 4-0 loss against a strong Earthquakes side. In a first half that was played majority in the middle third by both teams but the Earthquakes converted both of their chances while your Breakers couldn’t find the back of the net. Two late goals in the second half allowed the scoreline get away. In the second game of the day the U19’s fell short 3-0 against another very strong opponent in the San Jose Earthquakes. With another tight first half , the Earthquakes took the lead through a penalty halfway into the first half. The second goal came late in the first half followed by a third in the dying minutes of the second half. In the final game of the day the U15’s also came up a little short as they fell behind to an early goal and could not find their way back after that.

As this concludes the first half of this seasons U.S. Soccer Development Academy season, your Breakers look forward to improvements in the new year. The next set of games for your Breakers FC will be in mid January 2019.
